In this month's article I tell you about a book I have recently read, Miracles, the Credibility of the New Testament Accounts. Not only is this an amazing book - I highly recommend it - but it has made me think about all the miracles happening all round the world: ... the Gospel spreads in these lands by power encounters reminding us of Elijah's contest with the prophets of Baal. But are miracles really effective in bringing people into the Kingdom? Does a display of God's power actually achieve much in the long term? ... evidences only ... have effect in those who are sincerely searching for the truth and are being wooed by the Holy Spirit.
