Louisiana Flood Disaster Relief

Earlier last week, Louisiana suffered severe flooding that has affected thousands of lives. The Body of Messiah is pulling together around the country to help by donating items to support those who have been impacted by this traumatic event. As a community, we are seeking to provide for those in Louisiana during this hard time. If you are able to donate any of the following materials listed below, we will hand them over to Red Cross, who will contribute them to the disaster relief.

The items requested are as follows:

  1. Clothes
  2. Blankets
  3. Sheets
  4. Towels
  5. Paper towels
  6. Toilet paper
  7. Diapers
  8. Hygiene items (tooth brush/paste, shampoo, soap, etc.)
  9. Bottled water
  10. Canned food

Please, have your donations brought to the Synagogue by noon of this Thursday, August 25th, we will be ready for Red Cross to pick them up by that time. Contact us to let us know that you are coming to drop off donations.
