Our God Victorious

To speak in the name of Yeshua here on this earth means to be a representative of the Kingdom of Heaven. The authority that rules on this earth cannot understand this and will be intimidated by the power which is inside the believer.

In Acts 16,17 we read of the mighty wonders Paul did while he was in Philippi. Among them was the casting out of a demonic spirit from a girl who made money for her masters with her demonic gift. Instead of giving glory to God for her release from the demonic, Paul and Silas were dragged off to the chief magistrates. Even the judicial system of the day didn't give God glory, instead they had Paul and Silas beaten and thrown into jail.

At this point it might be difficult to stand on the promise that those who walk in righteousness with God will overcome and be victorious. Even though at the time it's hard, the Lord will appear and redeem us from all the accusations of this world. He will come into all situations and help us when we are cornered.

The jailer, was shocked to see that the prison doors opened when the foundations were shaken and yet the prisoners remained. Out of this prison experience, he, and his family accepted Yeshua as their Lord. This is a huge victory because Paul and Silas didn't look to the physical situation they were in but forward as representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven. In spite of all chaos around us we much continue to worship and praise God and the walls will come down.

Even as we go through the various trials and misunderstandings of this world which we are subjected to as believers, we are called to lift up our eyes to the Lord and persevere, standing on His word. He will appear, something good will come out of it.
