Everything is from God

Everything is from God! A simple truth that we may find hard to apply sometimes. We read in Romans 11:36, "For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things to whom be glory forever. Amen"

God allows us to go through situations that are not always pleasant. He does not however allow us to go through more than we can handle. How is it possible to stand in the face of adversity and to grow through it?

When we commit everything to God then all things fall within His purpose. We will be established. Everyone and everything is within His plan. Proverbs 16:4 Together with this, it is important for us to give the honor to God. Romans 3:23

Throughout the scriptures we are taught that to succeed in this world respect for God and one another are not an option. We must prepare our spirit man so that our thoughts and physical actions will be righteous before God and only then to man. Romans 6:13

Throughout the scriptures we are taught that to succeed in this world respect for God and one another are not an option. We must prepare our spirit man so that our thoughts and physical actions will be righteous before God and only then to man. Romans 6:13

All of God's children (His creation), are to be given respect. Paul's teaching in Romans 15:6-7 reflects this: "so that with one accord and with one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. So welcome each other, just as the Messiah has welcomed you into God's glory. So again, success comes by giving God the glory, committing our ways to Him and respecting all of His creation."

In John 13:34-35 Yeshua commanded His disciples to love one another as He loved them. What is this love? It is one of trust, standing when struck, partnering in each other's troubles not using them as a reason to bring blame.

What does God's Word say about this love and respect?

"And this is my prayer: that your love may more and more overflow in fullness of knowledge and depth of discernment, so that you will be able to determine what is best and thus be pure and without blame for the Day of the Messiah, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Yeshua the Messiah - to the glory and praise of God." Philippians 1:9-11

What should our character look like and how should we lead our lives?

"Welcome one another into your homes without grumbling. As each one has received some spiritual gift, he should use it to serve others, like good managers of God's many-sided grace - if someone speaks, let him speak God's words; if someone serves, let him do so out of strength that God supplies; so that in everything God may be glorified through Yeshua the Messiah - to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 4:9-11

And what should our motivation be?

"All this is for your sakes, so that as grace flows out to more and more people, it may cause thanksgiving to overflow and bring glory to God." 2 Corinthians 4:15

As a result we then gain the knowledge and understanding that:

"Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with his purpose" Romans 8:28
