Irv and Barbara Horseman

Irv Horseman serves as the Congregational Leader of Rosh Pina Messianic
Synagogue in Owings Mills, MD., along with his wife Barbara. Irv has been
associated with the Messianic movement since the late 70s and has been an
active member of Rosh Pina for the past 20 years. He served as an elder on
the leadership team for 16 years and became the senior leader in 2004. His
main interests have been learning the Hebrew language and various Jewish
studies in order to "...rightly divide the word of truth" (II Tim. 2:14).
Also, he explores how Y'shua lived as Messiah and an Israeli Rabbi in his
earthly ministry. Irv wants to share this passion in order to help others in
their enthusiasm to learn, love and follow Y'shua through the Scriptures.
Serving Tikkun America:
- He was ordained, in 1994, as a Messianic Leader by Tikkun
International. Tikkun's main objective and functions are to help
train/facilitate its member and associated Congregations in ways to reach
Jewish people with the Good News of salvation through Y'shua (Jesus)
their Messiah and to continue to live as Jews, according to His
teachings. Also to connect with the larger body of believers and to help
them better understand the Jewish roots of their faith.
Serving other ministries:
- He has been involved periodically in speaking and teaching for
the UMJC (Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations).
- Also, teaching in various churches that have been open to
learn about G-d's Appointed Feasts (Holy Days), the Jewish life
cycle and also the Jewish background of the New Covenant.
