Wasn't the Tikkun America conference inspring this year? When I got home I wrote this article about the theme of the conference, joy, and some of the lessons we can learn about it for our daily lives. When the scripture says that the "joy of the Lord is my strength" (Nehemiah 8:10), that doesn't mean that when I wait for joy and it happens to come upon me on a certain day then I'll be strong. It means that we must appropriate joy. I think you'll get something from reading it - here - and do come back to the blog to tell me what you thought.
