When God brought our people out of Egypt and led them through the wilderness, something very special happened when the pillar of cloud went before them. God's presence was connecting heaven and the earth. We chose that symbolism for designing the Ark, to house the Torah scrolls, for the Shavei Tzion congregation sanctuary. That symbolism is something that reaches out to all of us, no matter where we are. You can read the article here and do come back and let us know what you think.
