Greater Than Moses? Part Two

Moshe is often considered the greatest Jew, so in my sermon I listed some of the things that he did to see if Yeshua did anything as great - or maybe even greater.

Moshe brought us the 10 commandments. Yeshua gave us the Sermon on the Mount, which as I taught last month, are Yeshua's mitzvot for the heart - for God knows our hearts, and outward behaviors have their origins in the attitudes of the heart. Anger unresolved leads to murder, lust unchecked leads to adultery - yet blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God!

Moshe worked miracles - everyone knows about the parting of the Red Sea! - but then consider some of the miracles Yeshua performed.

Yeshua gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf and mute, healed walking to the lame, healed many with tza'arat, walked on water and invited Peter to join Him, multiplied bread and fish for thousands of people several times, raised a child and several adults from the dead - Lazarus after he had been dead four days - and then He rose up from the dead Himself, appearing and disappearing at will. Awesome, or what?
