With many of our vibrant, Spirit focussed young adults falling away from their faith having been through university or seminary, what it the answer? I am not against appropriate academic education for the brain ... However, heart education must accompany it in equal if not greater measure. Having identified the problem, I then discusss how we might go about addressing this and use one ministry as an example that it is possible to teach both good academics and good faith!
