On Thursday Dan and Patty Juster begin a three-day visit to Shomair Yisrael in Knoxville, TN. This congregation is led by Michael and Ann Weiner: Then in 1997 we founded Shomair Yisrael Messianic Jewish Congregation - we are amazed at the growth, both in numbers and in community. The Lord has brought the most wonderful people to serve Him with us. We are eternally grateful. Shomair Yisrael means "watchmen or guardian of Israel" and as a congregation ... We endeavor to have a place for Jewish believers who believe in Yeshua to continue to be Jewish. We also have a place for believers who understand that Yeshua was/is Jewish to learn and know the Hebrew roots of their faith. We desire to facilitate an understanding of Yeshua through teaching the Torah and its connection to the Gospels and to the rest of the New Testament. Dan and Patty'd visit will be culminating in them speaking at the Shabbat morning service, before the Tikkun Institute starts on Saturday evening!
