Physical and spiritual realities

Question of the day: Is it true that for every physical reality there is a spiritual reality?

Answer: I speak of it often, yet, it is proven here in today's readings. Yes, it is true. For every physical reality (like you now), there is a spiritual reality (like you in the resurrection). Consider these verses ...

1 Corinthians 15:42-46 "So also is the resurrection of the dead: Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption! Sown in dishonor, raised in glory! Sown in weakness, raised in power! Sown a natural body, raised a spiritual body! If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual."

Consider these 5 matched pairs in these verses: Physical - Spiritual; Corruption - Incorruption; Dishonor - Glory; Weakness - Power; Natural - Spiritual; Living soul - Life-giving spirit.

If we back up a few verses our understanding is amplified.

1 Corinthians 15:22-23, 25-26 "For as in Adam (natural) all die, so also in Messiah (supernatural) will all be made alive. But each in its own order: Messiah the firstfruits; then, at His coming, those who belong to Messiah ... For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed

is death."

And finally, to round out our understanding ...

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 "Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last shofar. For the shofar will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility , and this mortal must put on immortality."
