I begin our newsletter this month by sharing with you the exciting news from my six-month check up with the surgeon after my back surgery: He gave me the green light to begin physical therapy, exercise and even bending. What a treat to be able to bend over – properly, of course – and pick up the many things I have been dropping on the floor! I also share with you the many struggles that those families making aliyah to Israel face when they arrive, which is especially on my heart given that all my children are now living in the Land.
