As the last month of the Gregorian year begins this week, winter is taking hold on the country and Hannukah is only just round the corner next week! You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Vayishlach. Please pray for the network this week ... El Shaddai's Dorcas ministry is open this afternoon and Adat Chaim are serving at CrossRoads Christian Fellowship on Wednesday afternoon. On Shabbat Tikvat Israel have Beginners Hebrew Class, Shomair Yisrael have First Shabbat Oneg and Brit Hadasaha have a special Ladies Luncheon and Jewelry-Making Party! The Bible verse for this week is ... "Your boasting is not good. Don't you know the saying, 'It takes only a little hametz to leaven a whole batch of dough?'" (1 Corinthians 5:6, CJB) What little amount of chametz - sin, ungratefulness, envy, whatever it is - do we need to get rid of in our hearts this week so we can stand pure and whole before the L-rd?
