What is Empowered by the Spirit?

To be empowered by the spirit is a bit of a conundrum. Zechariah prophesies to Zerubabel saying ...

Zechariah 4:6 "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the Lord of hosts." (NKJV)

The very next verse says the mountain will be made low (by the Spirit). Empowered by the spirit is mountain moving power. King David knew of this and gave thanks to God in victory, saying ...

2 Samuel 22:33 "God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect." (NKJV)

2 Samuel 22:38 "I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them; neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed." NKJV

2 Samuel 22:47 "The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation!" (NKJV)

The victory belongs to the Lord!
