To tell of God's praises

Psalm 79:13 "So we, Your people, the flock of Your pasture, will praise You forever. From generation to generation we will recount Your praise." (TLV)

The verse begins with a declaration, "We are Your people". This is significant in itself. We belong to God.

Psalm 100:3 "Know that Adonai, He is God. It is He who has made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture."

Secondly, the verse elaborates on our belonging to God. How long? Forever, from generation to generation.

With that description of eternity, what will we be doing for eternity? The last 2 words of the verse (and Psalm) mean "We will tell all about His praises." In other words, eternity for us sheep (His flock) will be to tell praise reports. Why wait, let's get this party started.
