Being Good Stewards

It is surprising just how many things G-d has entrusted into our care and over which He expects us to be good stewards.

A steward is someone who cares for things, and "stewardship" is the conducting, overseeing, or managing of things. The "things" may be tangible property, or intangible items such as time, knowledge, skill, etc.

Both I and Dr Juster make comments about this miztvah, and it does speak deeply into our way of life.
