Do we believe?

When someone dies it is not unusual to have mixed emotions. If they were a Believer, a brother or sister in the Lord, we often are comforted by the understanding that we will meet again. However, still being in the flesh, it is natural to go through a grief process. We may go to the scriptures finding comfort even in the scriptures of the last days such as Revelation 19:1-10.

What comfort we find in the knowledge that as Believers in Yeshua, we will participate in the marriage supper of the Lamb. We the Bride have a promise of eternal life. Why then do we so often live life here on earth; this temporary place, as if it was eternal? Satan draws us to worship everything except God, it's a battle for our soul.

The question is, do we really know, understand or believe that we will be at the marriage supper? Is our first love Yeshua and if so are we living, moving and being in Him? Are we so intimate with Him that His personality and attributes are reflected through us? We know that salvation is through Him and that we are called to bring the Kingdom of God to earth. When we are faced with the loss of a loved one is their testimony that we saw Yeshua in them? Moreover, is that our testimony? The love and life and character of Yeshua living through us? May it be so.
