That one place everyone struggles

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12 TLV

We need to remember that we aren't fighting political enemies or philosophies or countries. Those are most often how our struggles manifest, however, those are not what we struggle against.

When we forget who we truly are as disciples of Yeshua, as a "kingdom and priests" who will "reign upon the earth" (Rev 5:8). We forget our identity. And, indeed, when we forget our identity we forget how we are supposed to act.

It is definitely most important during these current times and current political climate that we remember who we are and where our struggle is.

As it says above, we struggle against a spiritual enemy in the heavenly places. When we forget where our fight is merely because of how it is manifesting itself, we do no more good then to tilt at windmills.

If on the other hand, we act according to our identity and remember who we are then what happens? Our natural actions, which manifest, will have resulted from our spiritual reality rather than trying to make a spiritual reality manifest as a result of our natural actions. In other words, our natural actions will be the result of our new identity in Yeshua. But, our spiritual actions will not be the result of fallen sin nature.
