Worship the Lord

"For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens" Psalm 96:5

Let us remember that we worship the God who made the heavens. There are many around us who worship other gods. They may be our enemies; and though they may worship other gods, they are still created in God's image.

We are commanded to love our enemies. Psalm 96 also reminds us that beauty is in his sanctuary. God is and has created beauty or adornment. That is part of God's image and part of who we are meant to be. Loving our enemies, in obedience, because He first loved us, is our calling.

In other words, let us let our focus be on who we do worship so that others may see who they do not worship.
