Strengthen your hearts

Summer is well under way, with conferences, camp and retreats happening all round the network. These are important times for learning and sharing together. You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Ekev.

Or Chaim are taking part in the Colorado Messianic Women's Fellowship Women's Retreat this today and tomorrow. Shomair Yisrael have a Yound Adults gathering on Sunday and their Shomrim Tze'irim Children's Camp Monday-Friday. Tikvat Israel have Torah Study on Tuesday evening, Adat Chaim have a Congregational Day of Prayer and Fasting (concluding with a prayer meeting in the evening) on Wednesday and are taking part in Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem on Thursday evening. Shomair Yisrael have Erev Shabbat dinner and service and Dan and Patty Juster are visiting Beth David this Shabbat.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand" (James 5:8, NASB)

How are you doing with being patient? Sometimes it's a challenge! This week, let us strengthen our hearts in the L-rd's promises.
