Romans part 44 - Trust In Our Miracle Working God

Romans 4:17-19 (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations"). He is our father in the sight of God in whom he trusted, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence that which does not exist. In hope beyond hope, he trusted that he would become the father of many nations according to what was spoken - "So shall your descendants be." And without becoming weak in faith, he considered his own body - as good as dead, since he was already a hundred years old - and the deadness of Sarah's womb.

I love that phrase at the end of verse 17, "... calling into existence that which does not exist." This is our God. Do you believe in miracles? Our father, Abraham, did. To have a life of faith, we have to keep Yeshua on the throne of our hearts. Psalm 45:7(6) Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and a scepter of justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.

I have a friend who signs every email, "Eyes on Him!" The moment we take our eyes off Him, we are believing a lie. Yeshua is the truth ... John 14:6 Yeshua said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through Me." And the truth will set you free ... John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free! Which leads us to ... John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed!

May we all trust God to call into existence that which does not exist. Doctors may give you a diagnosis, that's what they do. But God is Adonai Rofeh, the Lord is our healer. That's what He does. Submit to God, eyes off self, eyes off the world, and eyes on Him.

Psalm 18:3-4 Adonai is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in Him I take refuge, my shield, my horn of salvation, my stronghold. I called upon Adonai, worthy of praise, and I was rescued from my enemies.

Shalom, shalom.
