Romans 11:11 I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their false step salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke Israel to jealousy.

We're just starting the Scriptures that explain the pulse of Messianic Judaism. Those Jewish people did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! Stumble in our walk with God, yes. Fall? No. We Jewish people have a future with God, and that is Paul's emphasis for the rest of this chapter. BTW - some day, all Judaism will be Messianic Judaism as all Israel will follow the Jewish Messiah.

Jeremiah 31:34 "No longer will each teach his neighbor or each his brother, saying: 'Know Adonai,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest." it is a declaration of Adonai. "For I will forgive their iniquity, their sin I will remember no more."

Rabbi Trail: The writer of Hebrews (many believe it is Paul, but this is not firmly established) wrote Hebrews to be the apologetic to Jewish people. This verse in Jeremiah 31 is quoted in Hebrews 8:8, right after Hebrews 8:6 But now Yeshua has obtained a more excellent ministry, insofar as He is the mediator of a better covenant which has been enacted on better promises.

This reminds me of a dream I had just before I woke up this morning. In this dream, I had a tablet of paper. It was blank except for one word at the top, "EVIDENCE." The assignment was to make a list of evidence that Yeshua is the Messiah. Of course many scholars have already done this. David Stern's "Complete Jewish Bible" comes to mind immediately.
