Romans part 157 - One in Messiah 46

Romans 11:15 For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

Wow! Here it is, one of the greatest verses in the Bible! The preponderance of Jewish people "rejected" Yeshua as Messiah. But this was God's plan all along. Paul said as much a few verses earlier in referencing Deuteronomy 29:3(4) and Isaiah 29:10. Romans 11:8 ... as it is written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day."

The word "rejection" intimates a willful act, but the scriptures seem to indicate this is God's doing. The same with Yeshua's crucifixion ... Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased Adonai to bruise Him. He caused Him to suffer. God's plan for worldwide redemption requires that Israel reject the Savior.

Yet the plan all along is to direct a 180 degree turn. Israel will return to the Lord. Now, in the last days, when Israel will receive the "Good News," this will lead to worldwide revival. Our verse today says, "Life from the dead." That's revival. God has a plan for you individually and for the whole world corporately.

1 Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may lift you up at the appropriate time ... 1 Peter 5:10 After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace - who has called you into His eternal glory in Messiah - will Himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.

His promises are for you and me, as well as for the whole house of Israel. We have faith and God does the miracle work. Moses said it to those who came out of Egypt, but it is still true for us today. Exodus 14:13a But Moses said to the people, "Don't be afraid! Stand still, and see the salvation of Adonai, which He will perform for you today."
