There is never pain without purpose. God never wastes pain. He always causes it to work together for our ultimate good, the good of conforming us more to the likeness of His Son (Romans 8:28-29).

God never allows anyone to undergo suffering without a purpose. There is always a reason for the season, whether we  can comprehend it or not. Whenever there is suffering, God’s purpose is to elevate, transform, equip, and refine us for a  greater purpose. Just as fruit must be bruised and crushed to smell its sweetest, so often must we undergo suffering in  order to fully develop more fruit of the Spirit. Our sweet smell is inherent, but it is not always manifest until brought forth through difficult times.
