In the past several years and even more so in current times, there seems to be a preoccupation in the Body of Messiah toward spiritual warfare.

As I minister very frequently in deliverance ministry or pray for God to set people free from demonization, I consider myself to be quite familiar with its practice when put to functional use. Having served in this type of ministry for over thirty years, I have seen a lot of methods come and go. Some seem very effective, while others are less so.

I would like to share with you some of my thoughts on the matter for your careful consideration before the Lord. As practitioners in deliverance ministry, some of the most important questions we need to ask ourselves include:

• Are our actions biblical?
• Did Yeshua or His disciples model such behavior or prayers?
• Do we have authority to do what we are doing?
• Are we doing what we do have the authority to do and is what we are instructing correct?
